This is a form of swing dance that elicits joy and exuberance. Make new friends, get your body moving while getting a cardio workout.

Nancy and Jerry Flood have been dancing Lindy Hop for 20 years and are excited to share their experience and enthusiasm for the dance with our local community. Nancy and Jerry continue traveling the world to Lindy Hop workshops and have enjoyed teaching Lindy Hop at various locations in Central and North Jersey.

Our introductory lessons will cover basic steps and fundamental movement. This is ideal for those folks who are new to Lindy Hop but dancers of all levels are welcome to share their experience with newcomers. Introductory lessons are always free with admission to our Dance Party events.
Our Swing Dance Project progressive lessons are for dancers who wish to explore the dance journey we call Lindy Hop.. We start with the fundamentals and then progress to more complex rhythms and patterns.. Individual rhythm and movement are stressed as fundamental building blocks for connecting to the music and to your partner while developing musicality and innovation.
It is not necessary to bring a partner. We will start with lessons followed by practice and social dancing to DJ’d music of the 30’s and 40’s jazz era.
