Tutus for Tomorrow is a teen-founded nonprofit based in Northern New Jersey, making
dance more accessible by collecting and redistributing new and gently used
dancewear.
Tutus for Tomorrow partners with local studios to get high-quality items into the hands of dancers facing
financial barriers—because passion, not income, should determine who gets to dance.
Feel free to bring gently used dancewear or shoes. We will have a dontaion box available.
INTRO Beginner Lesson - 7:00pm-8:00pm
Join us to explore how to groove to swing music with Lindy Hop, the original swing dance. No experience necessary. Dancers of all levels encouraged to groove along with us to welcome new dancers.
Social Dancing - 8:00pm-10:00pm
Dancing to swinging DJ’d music. Share the fun of Lindy Hop with others in the community.
What to Expect
- It is not necessary to bring a partner.
- Wear comfortable low heeled shoes; preferably sneakers.
- Don’t forget your water bottle!
