The SWING DANCE PROJECT - CHarleston CLASSICS Series

Participation in his series requires solid Lindy Charleston basics.

You are comfortable with the Lindy Charleston basics. What’s next? We will explore classic Charleston steps focusing on the technique that enables expereinced Lindy Hoppers to create combinations to happen in real time.

This course is intended for dancers who can comfortably execute Lindy Charleston basics introduced in the pre-requisite Level 1 Foundation class*. 

PARTNER IS NOT NECESSARY

We will explore how to seamlessly enter and exit hand-to-hand and airplane Charleston.

We will learn the chase entrance in the Tandem Charleston and variations.

 We will learn Charleston rhythm for tuck turns that send us down-the-line and open the door for many variations.
